DESTINATION 3 DEGREES
In April 2010, I was part of a team that set out to cross the channels that link the Hawaiian Islands. Our goal was to raise awareness for Algalita Marine Research Foundation and the issues of plastic contamination in our oceans. Morgan Hoesterey and I paddled solo across 7 of Hawaii’s major channels, becoming the first females on standup paddleboards to do so. It was an amazing experience and I am so stoked to have been a part of the adventure.
